Volant and K&N system why not used?

Volant and K&N system why not used?
Does Volant make a good box? I know its inclosed, but I have a stock truck right now. What about a K&N intake system they have one specifically for the Lightning with a heat sheild why is this one not used more. Any info please.

I think neither one of those kits fits on the '01-up trucks.

yeah the volant is made for 80mm i believe.
