First of all, that truck looks really nice and shiney in that pic Secondly, if you don't mind my asking, did you have any mods when the plug went? If so, how did you get around problems with the dealership?

I guess you didn't opt for ported heads and cams while it was apart

Good to have it back though

The Pawn, this is so weird you put up this thread today cause I could of sworn I saw your truck today. Were you in Orange today getting onto route 280 west? I was standin outside at my shop and an identical truck as yours went around the corner and went down the 280 west on ramp. This one had chrome wheels though, do you have chrome wheels you recently added or is that pic above exactly what your truck looks like right now? This one was all black, chrome wheels, lowered, tinted, loud, and had 01 taillights and a wing on the back lid like yours does. Was it you?? Mike

Trashguy: Sweet. Mine is in transit! Can't wait.

CaptO: Hah, nah, not yet...this was a mostly-cost-free dealer repair.

Baddgene: I have a full exhaust w/headers and a cold-air intake kit, no pullies, no chip on the drivetrain side. I did have an exhaust leak noise that gave warning to the problem, just didn't get it checked quick enough. Handling/breaks are a different story.

Lightninkid: I have the Roush springs, QA1 shocks, Hotchkis sways and a Ruslow panhard bar. They rule.

SLP: It was probably my friend, the mechanic. They drove it for around 15-20 miles after they put the engine back in to make sure that everything worked and held together. My "daily" wheels are chrome, my R-compound race tires (in the pic above) are on my stock rims.

Now to go for a 4 hour drive, ttyl.

Dan
