gain of .30 in the quarter.

I was at the track a few weeks ago and this guy was running consistent 14.7's in the quarter mile. ( I live at 5,500 feet elevation, cars are typically 1 second slower up here) Well anyways, he removed his hitch, spare, tailgate, and soft tonnau cover and ran a 14.4.

I took my hitch and spare off right after I got my L--permanently off. You don't need to remove the t/g. My last best et(see sig) was with the t/g on and up.

Thundergod,

I have been out a few times to that track the past few weeks.

What colour was that truck?
I have seen a few out there. A true blue and a silver so far. Also a few HD trucks ran, they were in the 15 sec range.
I ran a best of 13.46 there on sunday with my L.

Have you ran yours yet? Maybe we could hook up out there sometime.

When I first got my L and was doing some true tune and testing,
I couldn't break 13.3 for a while, "got 4 in a row"

Made a home made air box and 4" Ram Air and then ran 13.1 the next week

Then switched to Denso IT-22's from TR-6's
Took my hitch off and ran a 12.8

Hilander,

It was a totally stock silver one doing the 14.4 quiksilver did a 13.4 I believe in his silver one. I havnt had a chance to run mine yet. I have my intake and blower off for porting and cleaning out all that oil. Congrats on your time, thats impressive. I saw a viper and an 03 cobra do a 13.7. What all do you have done to your truck to run that good?
