I just recently installed the Monster Box in my 2003 Lightning.

I had planned on selling the 4R100 out of the Lightning since it was new.

I then thought about my 1997 F150 with the 4R70 Tranny in it. I have 65 K miles on that one.

I am wondering if I can put the 4R100 in the Lariat. It has the 4.6 motor. i sure hate to sell the 4R100 for 1350 bucks when it is worth alot more than that to buy it from Ford. Heck it has less than 4k miles on it.

Will this swap out work?

It won't work with the 4.6L engine. It'll more or less bolt up if you change the converter, but you'll have to do a lot of PCM work, maybe reiwre the whole truck drivetrain, prolly not worht the effort. Do you have a buyer? YOu may consider selling it on E-bay.

Rewire?????????? Ouch, i didn't want to hear that. I may just keep it for a spare in case the Monster Box fails....J/K. That won't happen...RIGHT GREG....LOL.
