If you could choose a motor for your L, what would it be?

Say you had a factory option, to choose from a few engines for your new Lightning.
What would those offerings be and which would you choose and why?

Id pick a 6.8l V10 with a supercharger, torque torque torque!

I'd like to see a DOHC 32 Valve Motor with a shorter stroke so we can rev this sucker to 8500 RPM and still keep the rods in.
They would have to knock off at least 500lbs on this beast to make up for the lose of Torque, but I think it's a better package and would be a stronger motor.

All things considered, I will be very happy with their new 3-valve variable cam timing, manley rods, and twin screw blower. Really should have an Al block for todays standards. Also I agree, lets rev this a little more, to say at least 6K! This I expect to be the new L motor. We can get all the power necessary in an 8 w/out the weight handicap of a 10, as much as I'd like it.
An engine is only as good as its trans, so I look forward to their new 5-speed, only paddle shifted, or a 6-speed manual. My definition of performance includes me selecting the forward gears as I see fit.
