Question Brake Service Advice

Have 25K miles mostly highway...and are going to change my brake pads, going with hawk.

1) Should I bleed the brakes and change the fluid? Any special type.

2) Should I have the bearings repacked.

3) Are there special "tin clips" that need to be changed with the pads.

Is there anything else I should do or be aware of.

Thanks
Howard

I changed mine on Sunday. Its pretty easy to do. I just replaced with stock brake pads. Your going to have to bleed the brakeswhen you change the pads, as with any car, cause you have to push the pistons back to get the brakes off the caliper. I didnt change the fluild, looked fine to me. I have a little over 30k miles.

All in all it took less than an hour. Oh and you need a 45 torx, if you dont already have one....
