Whew. Was a long weekend, but well worth it. I just got back from the NHRA Gator Nationals in Gainesville Florida, at Gainesville Raceway. I had a blast. This is now the 8th year ive been, and it never gets old! Fast, Loud, Body shaking cars... gotta love em. I took a bunch of pics. Was a blast.

Yeah, nothing like a little Nitro to get the heart pumpin' and the eyes runnin'.

 

Speaking of eyes wattering, my sister (turns 23 april fools) and her boyfriend went with us this year. She had never been, so after first round eliminations I brought her to the pits, and she watched as they rebuilt the car. When they went to fire it up, I told her, you can stay and watch, ill brb, I have to go to the bathroom.... But really, I let her stay there and inhale the fumes and get the eyes running. She comes flying out of the crowd, her eyes running like faucets and her nose dripping. I thought it was the greatest thing ever.... She had no clue! She wasn't happy with me for the rest of the day...

That SVT golf cart belongs to JR on the F L A S V T board, I was riding in it all weekend. He's got an '03 Harley truck, '03 L, and '03 Cobra...seriously.
