Got salt on chrome, now what?

I had my wheels chromed at California Chrome (which did a horrible job I might add) last year. Salt got on them and sat for awhile and now there's little bumps and stuff. I don't think the salt has eaten into the chrome, but some chemical reaction had definately taken place. Short of having them stripped again, what can/should I do?

Mine had some bumps and stuff too. Get some Eagle One Chrome wheel cleaner and spray them good. Only leave it on for 30 seconds or less and use a really soft brush to wipe then down right before you spray them off. Wash them with soapy water and then put a coat of car wax on them. Mine look great now, there are a couple of light surface scratches from the brush, but they will eventually wax out.
