Just got 00 Lightning WHAT MODS...

Just picked up an 00 Lightning with 25,000 . What would be some of the best mods to do and is there anything thats should be done. Like change plugs, filter, etc...

Also what are the differences in the 99-00 and 01-02.

Thanks
BRad

I was thinking a Chip,Cold air kit (recommend one), Magnaflow cat-back,change the plugs to NGK Tr6 , and up the boost with a pulley change and which one would you get.

Want to run 8.50's in the 1/8 mile on stock rubber is this possible.
And still be reliable to drive everyday.

Thanks
Brad

Flip chip, airkit+90mm mass air, 4lb lower, ngk tr6's,and some type of traction devise. I have a magnalfow catback but catbacks dont add power on these trucks so i would wait till i got the basic mods before you buy the mods that give very little gains.. I personally if i had it to do again would do the traction bars first then the rest of what i listed. These mods can be bought from any tuner. Pick the one you like and/or closer to. They are all great and will go out of there way to help you.

Change the fluids, new plugs, new fuel filter, traction bars, factory tech accumulator, then a chip and pulley.

My 2 cents, WOT
