L related - saw something funny at lunch !
Well,
I took off at lunch today to walk across the blvd. to the mall food-court to Sub-Way and was waiting to cross the intersection on foot from my current consulting gig.
Now mind you that I've commented to the gf that I haven't YET seen an L since hitting Akron/Cleveland, OH, but....
This is where it gets good!
I turn left and what do I see ?!?
In an instant, I see a black '99/'00 L with some dood w/a taco-brim cowboy hat driving past( he looked like a cross between Axl Rose and Carrot Top drinking on a big C-Store drink!). The rig was totally blasted w/road-salt and dirt.
As he passed, I couldn't help but notice the tail gate was down and there were 2 big hound dogs asleep in the bed cruising down Market Blvd!
I was speechless...I still can't get that image out of my head!
People worry me sometimes...

PS: This almost ranks up there with the brand-new Rolls-Royce I saw in Tulsa recently with the trunk open (while in traffic at an intersection) with a lawn-mower in the trunk.

Tonight on the way home from work I'm at a big intersection stoped at a light, and I see the nose of a sharp looking Ford Truck approching and cross the intersection. It turns out to be a nice looking Little Red Ford Ranger all done up, I see the Ford Grill and emblems, the Ranger Emblems on the Fender, nice rims and tires, Beautiful Paint Job, that cool *** mini us bed they have
AND DODGE WRITTEN ACCROSS THE SIDE

There is one topper to this story which I'll share... while in Tulsa recently
, I also saw a red '99/'00 Red L which the bottom 1/3 of the rig was painted ... get this! GOLD !
I almost ran off the road!
BTW, there were a 3-man crew of "guacamolians" at the controls, though.
