First Kill!!!!! Yahooo!
I’ve been waiting for 6700 long miles!!! I pulled up to a stop light today to turn left and a Black Camero SS with some after market exhaust pulled in behind me, soon as I turned he came up next to me and goosed it a little and we both hit it from about 30 up to about 80, and I pulled him pretty good!!
We slowed back down and I could hear the clank of his gear shifter as he was gearing it back down again for another go. This time I let him get the jump on me and I pulled him a second time! I guess he didn’t get to impress the girl he had in the passenger seat but he waved at me and I gave him the thumbs up and I had to turn off. Man, that felt great! I’m not sure how fast SS’s are supposed to be, but it looked to be a late 90’s SS because it didn’t have the double humped headlights. Anyone know what year they started making SS’s and what the HP is on them? I would assume they are faster than a regular Z28?

I once beat a z28 infront of a Delphi Plt. in MI. It was shift change and this guy with a buety of a Z pulled up next to me and there was several of his co-workers behind him! we took off from the light I took him by a few car lenghts. I didn't have the heart to tell him I beat him with sand bags in the back of my truck or the fact I had snow tires to boot!

It was shift change and this guy with a buety of a Z pulled up next to me and there was several of his co-workers behind him! we took off from the light I took him by a few car lenghts. Had my first run in today (at 208 miles on the odo). Cruisin along and suddenly heard an roar comin up behind me on my left. I started gassin it, but he was just lettin me know there was a Z06 Vette there. I think he saw me from a distance and worked his way up to check out my truck.
Side by side with him at the next light, it was a 60+ year old guy out with his wife. Cool guy, we complimented each other on our rides while our wives just shook their heads at their goofy gearhead husbands.
I hit it pretty hard out of the light, with him on the gas a second behind. I never stood a chance but it was fun anyway, and nice to see an older guy that was still out huntin in his vette. I told my wife, "If you were wondering what I'll be like in 30 years, there I go!" Sweet Z06, definately had an exhaust on it, I have no idea what else but that thing tore me a new *******.

Theres noway that m3 will get you off start. shouldn't anyways, anyone run a m3?

you running any mods? really want to run a z06 since my fiance is a big corvette fan. anyone that has a z06 i have never beenable to get to run. came up on plenty of vette's but haven't been able to get them to run either.
