You guys have won me over...

Well after being "ill keep it stock minded" for a year now, i have decided to just jump right in and start modding the S*** out of my truck.

I think i will start with a 6lb pulley,chip,valve body, and n-oxide system.

The truck has got 20,000 miles on it. If it blows up, so what, build a better bottom end right?

Time to go shopping!

Yeah i hear ya man.. I have been doing the dealership thing, looking at the cobras etc, trying to find something faster than this truck.

Hell i'll just make this thing faster!! I like it better than a cobra anyway. (no flame intended)

Sounds awesome, but just be careful with nitrous and a big lower pulley. I would do the other mods first and see how you like it. If you still think you need more then go with the giggle gas.

You may find that the chip, filter, pulley and valve body will give you all you need. Just chipping the truck really wakes it up.

Wow, rob02l said 11's ??

I had no idea. I hate to say it but the "mod" posts, usually go in one ear and out the other. All i have been thinking was how i was going to break it.

Oh well, its an expensive hobby right?

Don i have a chip in it now, and a magnaflow exhaust. I also have a set of flows i could put on it later. I have heard i will have to send the chip for a reburn. I figure i will do that, or else order a complete "tuned" kit and throw this other chip in the trash.

Yeah, 20,000 miles and that is AFTER i took it off the road and bought an 03 explorer for a beater.

I drove the crap out of it. Now it needs tires too.

IMO, I would keep it to a 4lb pulley with anything over a 75 shot. Good luck and keep us posted.

Let me know when you want to put the mods on and I'll stop by and help. If you come back down next week, I will be doing mine minus the giggle gas and VB.

I don't think I will be getting 20k out of my tires .
