Every week there's countless posts about someone getting a pulley, chip and valve body from their tuner. Then they go on to say how much it's awesome and their tuner is 'top notch' etc etc etc etc. Guess what people, we ALL have that same exact crap and know exactly awesome it is, and don't need to hear from a newbie for the 1000th time how awesome it is. Let's also not forget about the 20 threads a month about wheels.

I'd like to hear some exciting news from the tuners. There's nothing new, no new product development (that we hear about), it's just the same stuff every week. When is someone going to do something ground breaking... When are the people of this board going to post something usefull, or have all the people capable of posting usefull things gone elsewhere due to the drama. And by the same token do the tuners not post things cause of the 4 pages of backlash?

And we're all white trash redneck truck drivers, why are we all saying 'bling bling' all the damn time? I think it's become so commonplace that some of you moobs actually think it's cool.

Hey, I'm thinking about a chip, pulley, and filter -- one from each tuner -- and I saw these awesome 26" wheels that would look great on the Lightning. And for the ground-breaking part, I'm converting the engine to burn methane and buying all the bean burritos I can eat. Last I looked, a bean burrito was $1 less than a gallon of premium.

Since I'm a newbie, I figured I'd throw in my two cents. As a newbie I have no idea what topics you guys have discussed in the past. I'm positive there's a lot of duplication on questions. I participate in a dozen or so car boards on the net and have hundreds to thousands of post on all of them. So I see the same questions pretty often and understand what you're saying. But I also realize that they have no way of knowing that these things have been discussed a thousand times.

I try to use the search before asking a question to avoid the above. I am still waiting on delivery of my 03 and am very excited. Most the newbies are the same. Remember, you were a newbie once too!

I totally agree. The posting here has reached an all-time low in regards to repetitiveness. Where are the posts on fashion and home decor? Where are the posts on how to cook a pot roast? And while were at it, where are the posts on how to properly wear womens clothing? I'm frankly tired of cross-dressers who look like men in womens clothing...............

Every day I sign on here and I see another thread about chips, pullies, CAI and valve bodies.........what do you guys think this is, a dang performance truck forum? How dare you post this crap.

Of course, the thing I'm most tired of is people who post threads bashing others when they have nothing (and I mean nothing) useful to post themself.

If you don't like the place, either fix it or move on, but don't whine..............all that whining sounds like a bad belt, and you know we wouldn't want to discuss anything automotive around here.......

 

I like people to share information. I could care less if it was 22" wheels or water pumps or tuning information. I can sift through it and decide what I need to know as long as it is posted.

Geez, after reading all those "lyrics" ...now I REALLY HATE RAP. I have to agree with easterisland , I just sift through the threads and post on the ones I have something to say on. I dont mind when people post everything new they get for their truck, while I wont do most of it, it gives you ideas for your own mods.

 

Well at least the threads where everyone posted how scared they were to drive their trucks because of launching plugs have died down a bit.
