Holes in bumper cover?

I was wondering what some of you have done to cover the liscense plate bracket holes in our front pieces? I know some of them dont have holes at all but I have seen a few of them with plastic body color plugs in them. Anybody know WTH Im talking about?

i am having mine patched here in the spring. i took my bracket off before i left the dealer so that it wouldn't leave wear marks of any type in the cover. I can't wait to get it fixed - it's such an eye sore now.

yeah I hate it, I unfortunatly have some very light wear marks where the damn plastic rubbed the paint as well.

Here is what one of my friends did to his '03 after the dealer messed it up. It looks good from a distance.

i tried those plugs on my '93 Cobra, and didn't like them. i am going to spend the extra money and have them filled in at the body shop. i hate these dealers that think they can drill holes in these things. it should always be left up to the customer.

You can get them at autozone or a parts place. I don't know what they are called. I used them in my truck and they look good.

I have a white 00 and had the same problem also so I did what easterisland did. I purchased some plugs from Pep-boys and scuffed them with a scotchbrite pad then painted the with some dupli-color paint. It doesn't look to bad on a white truck.

Good Luck

Laurence
