Hello to all. I've been reading the posts since I bought my 2002 Lightning and you have a very informative forum. My L now has 5k miles so let the mods begin. I'm doing the 3-4 drop as we speak. A few questions for the great knowlegable ones.

1.I tow a 21' Bass boat will I bottom out? ( 70lbs tongue weight or so)
2. What is the best cold air induction? (K&N, Airaid,etc)
3. How does the Magnaflow exhaust sound.

Thats it for now, I don't want to drain the wallet completely. Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

#1 the lightning will tow that boat no sweat
#2 check out one of the ram/cool air intakes from JLP or PSP
#3 never heard it sorry

 

I have a Belltech 3/4 drop, and I bottom out over some bumps. I'm sure you'll do it towing a boat!

 

yep with a 3/4 you'll lose some towing capacity..i would get airbags in the rear to help...

 

70lbs tounge weight is nothing though......

 

Oh yeah, forgot one ?. Can I do the airbox mod instead of the cold air box?( Benefits / Drawbacks) Will the box mod work with pulleys for more boost?

 

I've got the Magnaflow cat-back... LOVE the sound... but now want more... so, thinking adding hi-flow cats
