Installed my 2" drop shackles over the weekend...

Here's a pic of the truck stock

Then after the 2" drop shackles. The install was real easy. It took only a half hour. I really like how it looks after the drop. It isnt AS noticable as a 2" drop as i thought, but still an inch or so drop visually i think really levals off the truck. I really like the results. You may not be able to see the difference between the 2 pictures, but the gap in the wheel well seemed to become smaller, and just the overall truck looks leval now.

The 2" drop is a great mod isn't it. I think it really makes the L's look a lot better. BTW your trucks looks great. So is the front next to be dropped.

Yeah dropping the rear was easy and well worth the little work it was. I love how it looks now. Why would i want to drop the front an inch? Then would it be even more leval? It looks to be real leval with the set up i have...

When lowering the rear are the stock shocks ok to keep or will their be problems down the road?

I would now drop the front so that it doesn't look like you are driving around with 500lbs. in the bed. It will give you a much better look

Maybe every truck is a little different but the 2" rear drop made mine sit perfectly level. If I were to drop the front it would have a rake. I like it just the way it is.

Dropping the front would give you a slight rake.

there is definetly not as much difference in the drop when it's done on a 99-00 than on a 01-03..... the 01-03 have more wheel well gap cause of the payload and all that....

but isn't it amazing how the stock pic looked good, and then you dropped the rear and the rear looked great and then all of a sudden the front looked like it had too much wheel well gap? amazing....

The 3rd pic i posed does look like there's 500 pounds in the bed. Thats not how it looks. If you look at it standing to the side of it, it looks very leval. I am very happy with how it looks with just the 2" drop shackles. I'll try to get some better pictures up. Thanks for the coments though. Shane
