Nitrous problems, slower when spraying

When I hit my nitrous button it is like hitting the brakes on the truck. It's acting like it is getting flooded out. I'm not sure what is wrong. I've checked and I am getting nitrous out. I have a bottle heater so there is plenty of pressure. The jets are set at 52 Nitrous and 33 Fuel, what I think is for a 100 shot.

I have a "custom" system but I don't see why it should act differently than a standard NX kit. I have a NOS bottle, NOS Cheater solenoids, and a NX shark nossle with NX jets. My solenoids are larger than the NX kit. I'm tapping fuel from the passenger fuel rail and have the nozzle mounted in the straight part of the plenum behind the throttle body.

Only other thing maybe different from other nitrous trucks is I have the PSP fuel pump kit. Not sure if that changes fuel pressure going to the jet.

Any suggestions? I have thought about using smaller fuel jets but I'm concerned about randomly leaning it out.

EDIT: I also have larger fuel injectors, 50# MSDs.

Sounds like the nitrous isn't working. On a normal system, if the mirco switch isn't working, or the fuel pressure switch isn't working right, then you would have BOTH soleniods not working, but it sounds to me like your adding fuel and no spray. Aside from the obvious making sure the bottle is on and not empty, I'd check the nitrous wiring, and make sure the nitrous soleniod is working.

Ya my first thought was nitrous wasn't coming out. It definitely is though. I've gone as far as disconnecting the nitrous hose to the nossle and had a friend hold it while I hit the button.

A friend of mine had a similar problem and it was an electrical issue. His system was wired into existing wires and it worked fine in testing, but when driving it the selenoids wouldn't open far enough because of power issues. He ran new fused wires and it worked fine. Just a thought.....

Thanks 99svtlightning. I never would have thought about something like that happening. I'll check it.

Any other suggestions? Are my jet sizes the same as what everyone else is running? Is it possible I need a fuel pressure regulator for the fuel solenoid?
