Question Question about coil packs

Since I checked everything else out and still have not found the problem. How much is it gonna cost me to have the dealership test my coils?? I know that someone on here has had it done. I am gonna go ahead and throw new plugs in while I got it taken apart. Also, one of my idler pulleys is SHOT!! How much do they cost a piece. I am gonna replace them all for insurance. Thanks in advance.

Go to http://www.fordpartsonline.com for coils, about half the price of dealers.

I read somewhere you can test the resistance of the coils and they should be 5.5k if they were working. Can someone confirm this?

resistance

resistance should be within 4-10 kohms. Replace if out of range. Can also be determned by a scanner if a cylinder is breaking up because of a bad pack.
