Installed 2400 converter, kinda disappointed

I just had a Hughes 2400 stall put in my 99 and really don't see much of a difference.
My L is stock though, will it become more beneficial after I get some mods. I am planning on going with a 5lb pulley and the new Diablo Predator when it comes out.
Thanks

would a 4400 stall do any better than a 2400?? or do our trucks make too much low end power?

you want to stall in the trucks power band so you launch better/quicker, a 4400 is way to high for our powerband, that would be more benificial to an ls1.

I unknowingly got a 3800 stall converter when I ordered a 2400 stall converter. I could have been the company(Art Carr and Lightning Force Performance) screwed up and didn't know what they were doing...??? Still haven't got a refund from Mark...it has been nearly 2 months since I sent the converter back... I know first hand that a 3800 stall added at least 1 second to my 1/4th mile time. At Bristol Tennessee I was running mid 13's...I removed the junk 3800 Art Carr and reinstalled the factory converter and got my second back.

I would stay under 3000rpms. Mine stalls at 2400 and it works great. 2600 seems about right. I know guys running 3000 and it didn't make much of a difference.
