No just simple hand tools. You should be able to get in installed in a couple hours.......unless your tool is in your hand

The only hard spot is taking thestock muffler off. I have done a few and to get them loose, I needed to heat the factory head pipes and have help pulling them off. ****

Hell yea take off the tips, then take off all the clamps, maybe spray some wd40 up on the joint to help it. Hook the strap to the exhaust somewhere and tighten it up and then just wiggle it. Mine came off real easy.

Do i unbolt the hangers or undo them at the rubber part. If you unbolt them what size is it because it is not a 3/8 or 7/16.
Im under the truck working on installing them now.

Yup there are tight, but with a good spray of wd40 or the like it will come off, Check out the instructions and use some pliers to twist it off.

Good Luck, It's worth it

I know when we put mine it was a PITA. Taking that stocker off was what took must of the time. We had to ratchet straps and 3 people pulling and the bastard wouldn't come off. Finally we just kept working at it and sprayed the hell out of it with some WD-40 and it came off.
Wiggle it back and forth and side to side until it comes off. Get some extra hands too

Ok, you need to loosen but DO NOT remove the two bolts that hold the down pipe to the exhaust manifold on the passanger side.

This allows you to line up the pipe to the X pipe.

Stick in there tou will get it. Remember to tighten these bolts when you have it all lined up.

Post again if you are stuck, we will try to help you out.
