How many trucks are left?

I wonder how many of the gen 2 trucks are left unmodded, original condition.

Seems like they are droppin like flies out there.

I watched a 454 convertable chevelle sell for $150,000 the other day.

Hmmm...

Mine is untouched, a Virgin if you will and I think its going to stay that way. With the exception of the seat and console mod. Other than that its great the way it is. It's put up right now and boy I can't wait to get it out! Who knows I may be so happy to have it out that I may mod it.

My 03 lasted about 2 weeks before the mods started. Although I only have the JLP ram air and a bed rug so it could easily be put back to stock.

I still have all my stock parts, so it can be original again if I want it to be.

I really dont think an L will ever reach the status of some of those old muscle cars. A 1970 Chevelle SS with the 454 was the last of a dying breed. After the gas crisis in 1971, they cut the horsepower way back on those gas guzzling carburated beasts. So, for years they didnt makes anything that could even touch the power of those cars. Now with the technology we have and the effeciency of fuel injection, we can see the same horsepower with better emissions on todays cars.

I didn't know putting a BedRug in was a mod! So I guess I have a modded lightning after all.

im gonna guess there is alot of unmodded trucks out there, i mean sure everybody here on the forum is modded because how could you not be...... being around guys like rtkilla and vinnie....

but there are probably way more owners out there that dont belong to this board that are stock.

All virgin down to the paper air filter. Only thing I added was a bed mat which is not really a mod.

I think the key to the term "mod" is can it be easily put back to stock? If yes then, who cares...it's a moment away from being the true blue you bought and drove off the showroom floor! Oh yeah, I forgot, I am going to mod the hell out of mine! Weather sucks in NC. I have 1000miles and will wait for better weather to beat it down...
