With better heads...btw ..anyone make better heads yet?
would a 75 shot of nitrous be too much for the stock bottom end?
what about with better heads? Beefing up the motor recommended?
2nd question ...I don't know alot about nitrous. Can you wire it to wear you have an arming switch and have it trigered after arming it and going to WOT instead of pushing a button?
just thinking...

I dont have nos on mine, but I have talked to guys that have. There was a guy I talked to down a Silver Dollar Raceway that had a 150 shot on his. He said he ran it the whole season before and was half way through the current season with no problems. He had minor modifications but nothing in the botom end. He only had a chip and blower pulley
I'm currently running Nitrous with 65 HP Jets in mine.
Stock bottom end, so far so good. There's more than you think around here running Juice, some will pop in.
I've used it a good amount of times now on the street,
I'm running it next week at Cecil with my 4lb Lower Pulley,
I MIGHT add my quick change 2lb Upper, and run it with 6lbs of Boost ??? (it depends)
I see no reason a stock bottom end won't handle it as long as you tune safe and don't over do it.
Examples:
Lower Timing
Richer A/F
Shorter Shift Points
AKA
A Program from a good tuner "that knows Nitrous tuning"
BTW
My system is operated by a signal it picks up from the TPS
(Throttle Position Sensor) it has an arming switch, once armed, it will only flow Nitrous and Gas at WOT.
Plenty of pictures in my Gallery
Good Luck

Hes controlling the a/f through use of an optimizer.Thats the first time I've ever heard of one or seen one.Pretty trick stuff.Hes getting big results for 1100.00 in mods. That truck is serious fast. Also, after talking to him about wet vs. dry,I'm getting a dry kit.

Im going nos also. Well its a new kit not named yet and im getting it for free when its completed for testing and advertising. Although i was at the track recently and was told not to juice the newer lightnings due to weaker rods. So what is the diffrence in NOS and a pulley? I was gonna go 100 shot but was told that is just crazy. So how much hp do you pick up with a 6# er?
