My girlfriend has an 8am appt with Bell Ford to get an oil change. We'll prolly leave soon after that. I just hope I make it down there on what little gas I have left, and they BETTER have the good stuff. I coasted there on fumes one time expecting to fill up with 100 octane and they were all out. I don't put the leaded stuff in so I had to leave, get gas (93) and come back. That was all on a friday night so you can imagine that I wasn't too happy. You're lucky to get 2 runs in there on a friday.
Got your email, Paul. Sent you one back. Not sure if you're still at work.
Just do me a favor and give me a ring at home or on my cell if you guys don't go for whatever reason. I left both #s in the email.
Thanks..
Dan

We are going. I'm all ready and the camera is charging. Prolly leave around 9 or so tomorrow morning. I know the L is going to be a big salt bomb by the time we get down there, but oh well.

See ya' in the AM.

Wanna talk about a salt and dirt bomb....I came home from Wildwood yesterday, and tried to leave early enough to beat the impending weather....NOT!!!...When I left WW at 11 am, it was 38 degrees and raining. As I was heading north on the GSP I was paying particular attention to the temp..By Atlantic City, 35 still rain...By Long Beach Island, 33 still raining but now I'm getting a little nervous..By Toms River...32 the magic number...Sleeting, but nothing on roadway yet..........Now at the Asbury Park toll booth....28 degrees, freezing rain, the road is a sheet of ice and I am *****ting in my pants, cars spun out all over the place...I try to idle out of the toll, rear is sideways and can barely get going...Turn on hazards, make it to the next exit, 105, and get off the parkway...No better...Roads have 2 inches of snow and ice on them...I make it to Rt 35 and continue to go north at 10 mph...Took me almost 2 hours to go 20 miles, but me and the truck managed to get home safely....So I parked her in the garage and didn't look at her until 10 minutes ago...Now the garage floor has 1" of water from the snow and ice melting off the truck, and I think it might be dirtier than it has ever been..

Good luck to those that are racing today. Make sure you're chips are tuned for the cold or put some nice race fuel in there. Don't want to see any bad posts later today. Have a blast and wash your trucks when you get home, they deserve it!!!
