Where is your seat?

Where do you like to position your seat?

I like to sit close to the stearing wheel and in an upright position. Even though I'm 6 ft 3 in, I like to feel close to and a part of the truck.

Others I know like to sit way back and lean far back too--not my taste.

How about you?

im kinda far back, but im pretty upright (back problems), but i still lean to the side (towards console) with the classic left hand on top of steering wheel, not real close, and not real far, in the middle somewhere, and i like to keep my passenger seat in the same position as mine, makes the interior look better.

I like to have a nice reclined position, but not too far. I also tend to lean to the right with the left hand on top of the wheel. I keep the seat back a bit because of my height (6'1). I agree with cobra97- keeping the passenger seat in the same position makes the interior look a little more neat.

i dont like it when people use there right hand, it's too "automatic" driving, have you ever had a manual trans car/truck? if you did then you would only drive with the left on the steering wheel, anyone that has a manual or use to have one does that cause were use to having to shift......

but do what comfortable

My seat is all the way back and reclined a little bit. You are supposed to sit as far away from the airbag as possible for safety reasons. -Mat-

Seat all the way down, all the way back, and reclined as much as possible. Also, left hand on wheel leaning on the console to the right.. About the only way my 6'6" 300 pound a$$ is getting in there comfortably.

i've got my seat back a ways but not all the way and the back is reclined a click or two. I always find myself sitting up though and not against the back of the seat. But if I move the back forward it seems uncomfortable.

Yah I drive with my left hand mostly although i've never owned a manual...but anytime there is a console shifter i'll rest my right hand over it...just a habit i guess.

most of the time i sit with the seat all the way back and reclined as much as possible so you can only see my red bandana. I drive with my left and point and holla and throw up signs with my right hand...or it's resting on my glock in my lap...

I like to position my seat right in front of the fire so I can roast marshmellows and heat up the smores!! One time my pant leg caught fire and I had to stop, drop and roll, but other than that is has worked out pretty good!!

I position the same as 02TruBlu, Back straight up, and seat base at the front all the way up and seat base at the back all the way down and full foward position.
When I was in my accident the airbag is fine aslong as it is pointed at your chest instead of your face. It is just a stupid rag that flys out of the steering wheel, all you here is a pop and it is over.

LOL! Good one!

I sit up close to the wheel. I was taught at driver's schools(not driver's ed.) to position the seat so that with your butt and back firmly against the seat; you stretch your arm out straight so that your wrist is laying across the top of the wheel. Then, when you grip the wheel, your arms are bent at the elbow, giving you more leverage for turning. Take a close look at the Winston Cup drivers and see how close there're sitting to the wheel. It's a battle/war out there and you've got to be ready and able to do battle.

not all the way back but pretty close, with a pretty good recline for the seat, usually as far back as possible but with a box thats not to far. I never really drive with two hands on the wheels though.
