OK...I live in a pretty small town, only about 5000 people or so. I was coming out of the local post office and I look in my rear view and see a Black Lightning. This is very bizzare because I have not seen any Lightning's around here, as we approached a red light they guy goes straight as I turn right and he blows his horn at me and gives me a wave. I return the favor. As I return back to work, the Lightning pulls up in front of my office and the guy driving comes in. It turns out he is from Michigan, we talked about our trucks for a few minutes. He just stopped in to chit chat & to see how I liked the truck. He was a very nice guy. He was in town visiting his father-in-law, & said he plans to move here next year. I am looking forward to it!

Anyway, I just wanted to share this little story with you guys.

In a similar story - when we had that cruise down to AC a few weekends ago i called up andy to see how close he was to our stop. he said he was coming up on a Lightning on the parkway and didn't know if the guy was with us for the trip or not. turns out he pulled into the rest stop with andy. well i pulled in with my L as well. the guy had no idea we were taking a trip to AC. he said he noticed the L and went with to the rest stop. we gave him this site. i wonder if he ever signed up or checked it out....he had a gorgeous 03 white L. he said he's been a chevy guy all his life...always drove corvettes but he said he LOVES the L and can't believe its power. i wonder if he'll make it to some other meets...he was really cool....
