Unhappy Had my last fun and kill with the L today!!

Well, I went thru a good $20 of gas, probably made it necessary for the F1's to need changing, and made the L roar for one last day.

I picked it up at the dealer so that I could go get my alarm taken out, and all my mods removed by REM..............althought the dealer is right across the street from REM, my Alarm place was a good 45 miles away, so I went there first, and had my last bit of Lightning fun in the meantime.

I gave a Blue WRX with turbo timer, Blow-off valve, downpipe/exhaust and chipped, (as he told me later when he caught up and we slowed to chat) a very unpleasant beating from about 55 to 110.....................Got him by a good 6-8 car lengths! That was fun, and thankfully the guy was a good sport.

At the audio shop, as I left, I gave them an 80 foot rubber patch to remember me by..................They said rev it up as you leave, so I did them one better!!

And finally on the way back, I got a C4 vette trying to play with me off the toll booth.......UH UH.............wrong day buddy...................Even though I damn near spun myself around on the soft pavement of the toll booth, I still got him by about 4 BUSlengths to 120.........He did a ricer flyby as I slowed to 70 or so, and he stayed in it and flew by me.............Dumba$$!!!

Oh well, and so it goes to history. The truck is currently at REM awaiting a strip down back to stock, and I'll pick it up tomorrow and make the 3/4 mile trip back to the dealer. If only I could keep both the truck and the Mach!!!

No Bling...........I think it has enough. As soon as I sell all L mods (please see Classifieds starting Wednesday), I'm lowering it with an Eibach kit, K&N filter(s), at the very least an off-road H-pipe (brand to be determined), and maybe some Flowmaster's (haven't decided on that yet). A Steeda Tri-Ax shifter, and U/D pullies would be in the not too distant future after that.

For now I'll be happy being Vinnie's twin brother, like Danny DeVito to Arnold!

Lowering springs
Vortech w/ aftercooler, air kit if you skip the blower.

4.30 GEARS????

Damn..........I didn't even know that existed!!!
I'm definitely not going with a Mac...........as good as they sound, I'm not going for the rusty look again, thank you very much. You gotta become an exhaust tip slave to keep 'em clean and rust-free..................but I must admit they do sound killer.
