I bought a can of Gumout air intake and trottle body cleaner today. I Sprayed the whole trottle body and all the inside of the s/c intake cleaned up all the oil in there. I also put a breather on the driver side valve cover and plug up the inlet on the boot. I turned on the L a bunch of black smoke came out the exhaust. When it cleared up I took it out for a drive, I instantly noticed that the s/c whineing noise was louder and and the trottle response was much, much better. Is it now making more boost because of a cleaner intake?

 

Hell If I know....you could take it to the track and see?
