Unhappy I think winter is getting to me!!!!!!!

Well I was out in the garage today working on several things and I went to pull the truck out and just then I heard the dreaded idler sound. After 40K I haven't had a problem with it so I guess I got lucky. Well I pulled all the pulleys off and took them apart and to my own suprize there wasn't really to much grease in there at all! cleaned the old crap out and I put some new mobil 1 in there, all good now!

Did the new PCV kit also and cleaned out the blower, plenum, and lower intake for the hell of it. it really wasn't that bad though so I hope with the new kit it won't suck anymore it there!

Changed the oil too and this time I added enough oil just to reach the max line on the dipstick. I want to really test this kit out to see if there is a difference.

Also fixed the worst rattle in the world! My bassani exahust started to just barely touch my drive shaft loop and it was horrible! As anyone else had that problem? Its all good though now.

I guess I'mjust getting way to board with winter! I want to go cruise around so bad and I'm dying to ride the bike but this weather SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Winter,

I live in Alberta, Canada. My new 03 Lightning is sitting in the basement of Metro Ford in Calgary, and I' am lying in a hospital bed playing on the internet. Who should have the blues . On a more positive note, I will be able to walk again. I need someone to go to my house and grab the photos on my dresser in my room, Scan them so everyone can see my Sonic Blue beauty. My Dad, Mom, 2 brothers, Aunt, Uncle and 2 cousins all buggered off to Phoenix I have 1 brother here a pile of friends and all don' t have scanners, Digital Cameras? Yes. Scanners? No. Oh well thought I would let off some steam.

Thumbs down

Yeah this weather sucks. I remember driving my Lightning all the time last winter. I think we got a whole 4 inches of snow. This year it just keeps sitting. I haven't driven it in over a month. I hobbled out the door at work today and just wanted to drop dead. Screw this weather. -Mat-
