I heard the traction was terrible, and it was very humid

Jim D ran a 11.7 in Skinheads truck
Paul ran a 11. something too

Not a very big showing only about 20 trucks

UUURGGGHHH...this is killing me. I was packed and ready to go. I decided not to drive the 2400 mile round trip because of the rain threat.

Traction here at Speedworld ALWAYS sucks. And Florida is always humid.

Welcome to Florida! Now you know why we consider 1.82 60's on F-1s is a major accomplishment.

Paul, Jim and Shaun are all out after round one.

Paul broke out
Shaun Red Lit
Jim spun off the line and got beet.

I am not sure why, but I heard no none from REM was racing. They have a booth, but no trucks racing.

Randy is the only one we know who advanced.

Oh and by the way no trash trucks showed up.

The REM race truck is still being built. They wanted it ready for FFW Orlando, but it just wasn't possible.

I'm sure as soon as it's ready, Tim and Paul are gonna kick a$$!

I still don't get it especially since it is bracket racing. Why didn't they race Pauls truck?? It isn't who's the fastest it is about being consistant.

Jim didn't bring his race truck, but he brought a customers truck and used this weekend to tune that truck.

Hi guys

Actually it's been called off for the rain.

My husband, Jimmy, is still in the running along with 8 other trucks.

He will be going down to Atlanta next month to finish competing.
It's going to be a long trip from Memphis, but I know he wouldn't miss it for the world, especially since there's only 9 trucks left.

Haha, you should come up to Epping, NH at NED. My 2.0x is an accomplishment on my truck....hehe.

It's really great when nightfall comes and the cool mountain air meets the moist ocean air. You sit down at the traps, watch the light hit green and can actually count in your head before you see some of the cars actually move.
