I wont deal with a dealership that questions me b/c of my age. Who are they to question you? It pisses me off specially when they run a credit check and it all comes out good. I am also 19 by the way. The best experience i've had was at a high end car dealership. I was loookking at a Black Diablo when the salemen came up and asked me if i was looking to finace or pay cash.

I understand where you're at, but it is their loss...

I'm 44 and just dropped 65K for a new Lexus. When I visited the Audi dealer to test drive the A8 (the only other car I was interested in) I was dressed in Jeans, a tee shirt, tennis shoes, and quite frankly lookin rather sloppy...the fact that I pulled up in what they believed only to be a pickup truck didn't help either. The schmucks there wouldn't give me the time of day.

Too bad for them.

Walked into the Lexus dealer and drove out with a new LS430.

If they don't treat you right and with respect, walk away.

Called the new ford dealer down the road and said anything including the cobra he would sell on xplan! I was extremely happy as I am 22 and need all the breaks I can so hopefully around xmas time I will have sumpin new in the garage!

Get some Grey hair dye. Stay up drinking all night long so you have bags under your eyes. Get some of those cheap reading glasses from Walmart to wear to the dealer. You will look about 10 years older. They'll be all over you...LOL.

Rocks

GOOD ONE 03

Meat Bag, I walked out of two Dealers before buying my Cobra a few years back, and one Dealer before buying the L this time out.
I'm funny like that, If I can't get treated the way I WANT, then they don't get MY MONEY. look around, you will find a money hungry Salesman somewhere to kiss your CASH

GOOD LUCK

BTW, I'm old and that happen, so it's not just an age thing,
people are just a$$holes these days

When going to the dealer you need -

A Check list... here you go some suggestions-

1. portable Polygraph machine and examiner
2. small taping device with tie clip microphone
3. mirror sunglasses
4. document reader
5. witness - prefferably two
6. applicable Laws and RMV certs for your area pertaining to FRAUD
7. contact person from Better Business Bureau
8. magnifying glass (to read between lines)
9. duct tape all the pockets you keep cash in
10. lip reader - so you can read their lips while there in the corner snickering and plotting against you
11. an Attorney well schooled in contract Law
12. young female in her 20's provocatively dressed (distracting measure) one of your witnesses.
13. an invisible ink pen (ink goes invisible after 1 hour)
14. and lastley - a Glock 23 when all else fails...

Good luck man - you'll need it ...

I spent 4 months looking for a good truck that was what I wanted (4x4, V8, full size, extended cab, power windows and locks, etc) and finally found one in my price range with most of features, and then went ot the dealer it was at and walked around for 20 minutes checking out the other cars after I found the truck I was looking for before a salesman came up to help, they had been sitting in the office before they came out, real annoying, but I still bought it since it was the truck I had been lookng for, they got off easy on that one
