Just got back from the track.....

I just got back from the track.....

Got a few bugs worked out of my truck. I had a leaking gasket between my blower & intake which was giving me a smoke problem when I would let off after the traps. I got that fixed, installed new plugs and put in my newly programmed chip. I had a few good results, but I did find I am spining my slicks on my rims pretty bad. I marked them after the 2nd pass when I felt a traction issue. They moved about 3/4 of a inch each pass after marking them, so I have a bad issue there.

First Pass {street chip}

1.75 60 Foot
7.60 @ 90.73 1/8th mile
12.09 @ 110.56 1/4 Mile

2nd Pass {Race Program}

1.66 60 Foot
7.46 @ 91.94 1/8th Mile
11.71 @ 115.35 1/4 Mile NEW BEST!!!

3rd Pass {Race Program}

1.70 60 Foot {Slicks spinning on rims }
7.52 @ 92.57 1/8th Mile
11.88 @ 116.73 1/4 Mile

I did not have any luck on my 4th or 5th pass, I spun bad and ran like a 12.10 & 12.15 on each. I did get a new best today and I feel there is still some more. I have a few things I want to change around that should help....

Todays Performance Mod List:

PSP 4-way Chip
PSP 6lb Lower Pulley
Works Power 112 Blower
Works Power T/B
PSP Filter Kit
PSP Fast air
PSP Oil Breather
PSP Caltrac Bars
Factory Tech Valve Body
NGK BR7 Plugs
Hypertech 160 stat
KOOKS Long Tube Headers
Bassani Catback
Pinion Shims
Boost Bypass Kit

Only weight off the truck was my spare and my hitch. This was done with 15-16lbs of boost, low timing, stock motor, stock fan, stock rear.

I am pretty happy....

Awesome! Glad to hear that the smoke wasnt anything serious. Did that get rid of the coolant smell too?
