How many miles will I get out of Nitto drag radials

For those of you that have been using the Nitto drag radials on your daily driver, how many miles are you getting out of them before the depth indicators start showing?
I know it depends alot on your driving habits so I would say that I drive pretty grandma_ish like on the street and will probably make 20 or so passes at the track this year.
Roughly how many miles, do you think, I will get out of them?

Thanks
Dave

Are they DRs?

Man, I thought I'd be able to get more than that out of the nt555Rs...hmmm

if i get a set of tires for track only, they'll be a full slick..or at least ET Streets or QTPs.

Thumbs up

All depends on how you drive. They have been my tire since about 5,000 miles. I have 18,500 miles and I am on my second set. I do a lot of burnouts and go to the track though. I will never go back to F-1's except for the cold months. The 555R's suck in the cold. Just buy em! -Mat-

I have had 4 sets of Nittos.

I usually go through a set a year on my Cobra and race it
3 weekends a month. ...and I burn them..hard.

Get realistically about 7-8k miles out of them.

I used to bitch about those 275/40/17s at $300 a pair,
but....damn the Lightning ones are $480.....shheeeett.

I swear by 'em though.
