lowering the rear, will these work

OOPS sorry.. Guess I read one thing but thought another.. If you put the shackles on it will lower it. The only way it would raise it with the shackles is if they were shorter. The longer they are the closer to the frame the axle will be

heres where i got em,

they specifically said that if you didn't flip the hanger that it would raise the truck instead of lowering it, i don't know much about suspensions, but thats what they said

Beefcake, I have a set of new (still in box) set of DJM 2" lowering shackles that I purchased for my 01 L. I didn't realize that the previous owner had extended the oem shackes and welded the extension to the hangers. Thus, I couldn't use them w/o changing my hangers as well. If interested, pm me and I'll send you a pix. Maybe we can trade for something in your health supplement line up.
