my dad just put them on his truck, they are absolutly awesome.


Word to the wise....I don't mean to duff Jim's gig at all......but the black hardware he sends to bolt the headers up to the cats.....will hold awesome...........but they will never come off. I had to torque them till they snapped, and this was going in the "unscrew" direction.

May be something to think about. But again, they are awesome. You'll spend a good hour doing wot blasts with a big **** eating grin on your face!!!!

 

Just got mine on a few day's ago and yepper ya gonna love them. The sound is great and the S/S's look real bling. I had it to a Ford dealer for an alignment and the whole shop was checking those puppie's out!!!

I am going to be very busy in a couple of weeks, I have a whole room full of new parts, reprogrammed chip-4lb pulley-new plugs-electric fan-water pump-160 thermo-headers-roush suspension-and if I can scrape enough money together a new heat exchanger and traction bars. yeah someones been working a lot of overtime lately..

How much HP are longtubes good for? Also, will it be quieter at idel. I put longtubes on my 4.6 and it got a little bit quieter at idle but alot louder at WOT.
