The 03 cobras are really tempting,but i am waiting on the 05L before making a decision on L or Cobra,as sweet as they are

I was the fastest Lightning in new england dragway for almost 2 years. 13.2 in 99(VERY RESPECTABLE) with JUST chip/filter
and 12.80s in 00 with chip/filter/2lb pully. I made the FIRST 12 second Lightning pass at NE dragway on FFW in 00 with just a swanson chip/filter .Then it blew up not much later. I GAVE the chip to a friend and that truck BLEW up 1 month later also.Im sure his tunes might be better now but Damn,Something was wrong with that chip.............Like I said in previous post,12 second Lightnings were few and far between until the middle of 2001

Heck, in late '99 when we first got them, who needed mods? There just wasn't much competition at the time, and even fewer people knew what a Gen 2 "L" was, so finding suckers to kick around was pretty easy.
