i think i got your e-mail but i was running out the door to go to work. i try to reply tommorrow. actually i know longer have any pins left. i had two board members ask for them and never used them so the only way i can cancel those pins would be to get their last four digits od there soc.

all anyone (ford employee) needs is your full name address and the last four digits of the buyers social security number

It's true. The soc number thing was changed about a month ago due to privacy concerns. Only the last 4 are needed now. BTW, how you give out 6? The system only allows 4 xplans to be given away/year.

 

i got an e-mail stating the change in how to aquire the x-plan and also i believe a mailer sent to my house. it did just switch within the last few months though. i've given out almost 14 x-plans so far this year using my dads and my fellow co-workers.

 

If anyone has a pin left sure could use one for an explorer.

I gave out 4 of mine and 2 of co-workers I'm going to get an A-plan for a family member in a few min. and will post what was required. We as Ford employees get a lapel pin set of 8 pins for giving out 4 X-plans and 4 A - plans I think the last two pins are gold with diamonds.

i think number 7 is silver and number 8 is gold with diamonds and if you get all 8 then you get a nice display frame also. looks like i may only get five of those pins though. maybe 6 if i buy a truck this year.

For those of you who want x-plan on non-svt autos, you probably can do better than x-plan. For example, in April, I bought an Explorer Sport Trac for less than x-plan (I can get them at work), and then got an additional $3,000 rebate.
