Storage compartment

Has anyone cut the box behind the seat in half to put just one sub behind the seat. I dont want to put two subs back there but i still want my storage compartment.

i havent cut mine, just took out for my subs, but it should work, u would just have to leave a little over half to leave two mounting location, (e.g. there are three screws that hold it in so leave the one behind the pass side and about 2 to three inches behind the drivers side so the middle screw will hold) but is should work....

I dont see why that wouldn't work. You could easily do it... just be careful cutting the box itself.

The lid is in 2 pieces......the box itself is 1......sounds like a good idea to me but with it out you get a ton more room.

I cut 6x9's into the lids of mine. Looks great. I need to add sound deadener now.

When I remove my storage compartment to put my enclosure in, I am planning on installing it in the bed somehow. I do like your idea of cutting it in half. That would be pretty cool.
