Anyone know of or heard of where one can get a colored billet gas door?

I was pondering the idea of a brushed black one..to match the black accents on my White 02

Just a thought..And looking for a place to research em.

Does anyone make one of these billet gas caps in a silver that matches a silver L?

I just don't like the ones that stick out.

 

my brushed alum. one off of a bullit mustang looks like it could blend in relatively well with a silver....

I have an electric one which looks pretty good. You really can't notice it because I had it painted the same color as the truck. The picture is also bad because a couple lights burned out in the back of my shop and the truck is on stands for now.

Actually, Highlander's door is not painted to match...it is clearcoated aluminium.

The door he has is a Pro Fit Linear Fuel Door. They are hand made from solid aluminium and can be done in different styles, even painted to match, and even with etched in logos (ie the Ligthning bolt or SVT lettering), etc. They can come totally custom, electric, manual, keylock, etc.

I had one back when I had a Focus between the two L's. The owner of the company, Randy, did the install for me himself. He's really cool and the quality is second to none.

Went with the bullit mustang fuel door on my '03 Shadow Gray Lightning. "Ford" bullit fuel door cost me $85.00 which included shipping. Got from an eBAY vendor but not through eBAY. Install was very easy. Bullit fuel door needs to be mounted upside down to work with the Lightning. Just means door opens in the oposite direction. Used some nylon washers/spacers so door was flush. Used nylock nuts I got at a local ACE hardware store on the 2 mounting bolts. Forgot to mention you need a torx head screwdriver to do the install. -Bill p.s. Looks great!
