Throttle Body or Valve body?

I've got some extra cash just lying around to be spent on my next mod. Should I get the Throttle body and drive shaft loop from Chikenears, or the valve body kit with pan and filter? Pretty much a matter of opinion I guess, but which would be more useful to me? I also plan on getting some traction bars if I get the TB, so where should I get those too? Thanks.

If you can get the Accufab and d/s loop both for 400 bucks i would do that just because the vbody prices dont fluxuate that much. However i myself would prefer a d/s loop that just bolts onto the vehicle w/o drilling or going thru the cab and i dont know which one chickenears offers.

as for use, the vbody kicks a$$ plain and simple. it was my second mod (first was filter) and i still think it rocks. nothing beats a hard bark on second

but since you're going with tbars soon i would recommend the tb and d/s loop...plus it seems like a good deal. you'll notice more throttle response too w/ the TB but i wouldn't expect a significant increase in power....

Definetly Valve Body. Get Factory Techs. Also get the Traction Bars. You will need them more actually if you get the valve body in my opinion. Your axle won't like the 1/2 shift, but you will.

I have heard a lot better compliments on the Valve Body! Everyone claims the shifts are just down right nuts! IMO, go with the Valve Body, Pan, Filter, and get some T-Bars...

Well I just installed the FT VB and it's one of my favorite mods so far. I would get the D/S loop however if you are getting the tracktion bars. No horsepower gain but better than pole vaulting down the track
