90MM mass on 1999L with no chip

i installed my 90 mm mass with no chip. spins hard in second when it never would do that before. i am thinking of 2lb and a chip next. i am not going to drive it until next mods. i am afraid that with no chip it might be a bad idea. should i go with flip chip or single. 2-4 lb and who should i call. i picked up a beater so i got the lightning for weekends and nice days. i want to do the long tubes and highflow cats just cant spend that kind of money for exhaust system right now. i want to get into 12's by this summer is it possible with just chip and pulley. any help appreciated. thanks

using the newer 90mm maf without a chip will lean out the truck..I would advise getting a chip from Sal or any auto logic tuner.

I'm currently running a 90mm and 4# lower with no chip on my '00. Well I have a chip but it has been turned off for a few months due to the cold weather and detonation. No problems here. I even towed my 3000lb boat out to the lake up some pretty steep hills, no detonation. I'm also using a breather cap which they say will lean it out more.

Yet another Lightning with a pulley and no chip!

And he even disabled the chip to prevent detonation!
