WTB TPS sensor

I have a spare throtle body that i ported and polished. I took the shaft out and reinstaled it. I put it back on my truck and it throws a check engine light and shifts late and hard. I tried to check the voltage on it and there is no voltage showing on my meter. Is something wrong with the TPS. The truck runs fine with the factory thorttle body.Where can i get a new TPS besides ford. Is this something i can find in a junkyard on most v8 fords? Im going to the track this weekend so i need the throtle body for that extra HP.

Are you checking it correctly?

I wouldn't think it whould just stop working as it's a pretty simple device???
