Thumbs up 11.39@117!

TeamJDM sends it's to Paul Gamino (Quick_Pick-Up) for his incredible 11.39 pass. Paul and his wife Stephanie drove up from Texas to have a motor built and tuned by JDM a couple weeks ago. I see 10's very soon! This was done on the stock blower and no nitrous by the way. Congrats Paul and Steph!

I can't tell you exactly, but I can give you a rough idea what he had done.

First off he runs 15" Bogarts front and rear, and JDM tracion bars with rear QA1's. So he can cut great 60' times.

The motor has
Built bottom end
Ported heads, with bigger valves.
New Aftermarket cams
Electric water pump
JDM heat exchanger

and of course he has JDM headers and full exhaust.

I am pritty sure he has a built trans too, with a 2400 stall torque converter.

The main thing at lowered his ET's from his setup he ran last season, where I think he ran in the 11.9's are the new cams, and heads. Thats all he really changed this winter.

There is a pick of his truck in Popular Hot Rodding doing a burn out. Its' a story about fun ford weekend. The pick is on page 79.
The lightning jumped out at me because all the other picks are mustangs. Thats a great time with no nitrous or blower.

Thank you Justin. Right back at you I think we have only begun to scratch the surface of what this set-up is capable of. We're getting ready for Orlando this weekend and who knows, we may pull something faster. This weekend though the name of the game is consistency. We're racing for Big prizes at the end of the year. New best times will continue to be posted. We have nothing but time on our side, let the times fall where they may. 2003 I feel will be a great year for the Lightning community and the wife and I look forward to meeting new faces and greeting newly founded friends.

I do read this site but don't post much. Actually if you look at FastGators posts and mine I don't post at all

Thanks everybody for the thumbs up. We hope to meet most of you at an upcoming FFW event. We have also made plans to attend WFC and Lightningfest.

Paul "Get-n-Go" Gamino
