JL Ram Air

just wondering what you guys think. Do you think that the ram air is really worth an extra $100 rather than the regular JL filter kit and why?. Because i am looking to buy one.

thanks

I've got it......Is it worth the extra $100? I think so. It directs a TON of cold air up to the filter. Very easy to install too!

I like mine. Keeps the cold air coming into the motor unlike the hot air thats picked up from your standard cone filter setups.

I think the better question is whether it's worth it without the scoop. If the alternative is sucking hot engine air, I'll stay stock, thank you.

JLP just sent me a new housing. The wrinkle black finish is way cool. Combined with the new gasket around the top lip of the box, it looks very close to OEM.

Hats off to JLP for a great product and great service!
