Well i just got done installing my JLP 3" drop shackles on my 01 lightning that i already had a beltech 2"/2" drop kit on. After installing the before and after measurments show a .25" difference between the JLP 3" drop Shackles and the beltech 2" shackles. I think when I installed the beltech kit it lowered it about 1.75" in the rear so that would make the JLP shackles right at 2" for our trucks. Personaly I would have prefered it to be a little more with the beltech front springs but I guess i will be going with the hotchkis rear leafs next to bring it down level.

 

did you drive the truck around after you did the drop? or just measure as soon as you finished the shackles? usually they take a few trips around the block so the shackles sit at the right angle. hopefully you'll get more than 1/4" gain with them.

when i did my belltechs, right after i did them i got 1 1/4" drop, remeasured a few days later (truck parked in same exact spot) and got a total of 1 3/4"

I also installed the 3inchers on my truck this weekend. It brought the rear down an additional 1/2 inch more than the 2 inch shackles. I dont have any pics at the moment but I will try to get some in the next day or two.
