Without F150online..This would have never happened
I much as I agree with Spike , I have had a lot of good experiences on here and have learned alot.
This is the most recent one.
I have been E-mailing Johnfastruk off line about some stuff and he had asked me about boost guage install. Since I have never (lazy) hooked mine up I told him that I would not be much help and to check with somebody who had just done one.
A couple days later John puts up a nice How to post (which I saved) on the install.
He emails me for my address. So I give it to him.
A few days later I get a letter with the Hard to find 7/64th tee that I will need for the boost install.
I did not ask for this nor did I even tell John that I needed it.He was at the store ,knew they were hard to find so he picked me up one and mailed it to me (free of charge).
Did he do this so that I would post this, No.
He probaly wishes I didn't.
It is things like that and others that keep me coming back.
I am just saying that if you sift threw the B.S. you will find a lot of good people and a lot of good info.
Spike you know a lot about these trucks and hopefully you will continue to share.

I hope I have not been one of the negative ones.If so I'm sorry I may be new here but I have been around the block once or twice when it comes to SC motors.I hope I can learn and help which is my whole purpose to being a member here on this board.

Yes Vinnie this is still a good place to be... Lot of really nice and helpful people .. But the site is going downhill... IF we all pitch in we can turn it around and make it better than ever........... Right

I post in spirts. I work 2 nights a week and do not have access to the internet. So when I am off or working days I post. Also I have not had my truck for 5 weeks.
I am not disageeing there is a lot of bashing going on. I am just saying That I have also had a lot of good experiences.

Johns a great guy, we email back and fourth.
The good people find the good people. You have no idea how many people e-mail me about my mod's. Some just to say hey I love what you did to your truck, some to ask questions, and some to help me.
And with the current Nitrous install I have had sooooooo many people offer to help me, and yes some mailed me just to say ha ha your schits gonna blow up. Most offered help, Tommy Lightning talked to me over and over and even offered to meet up at Cecil and take some readings with his equiptment and get the needed info for a proper Program. Just Tonight V calmed me down on the phone because I'm worrying about not going fast enough, I think his words were
Rob Rob, relax, no-one puts Nitrous on a Lightning and goes slower, then he reminded me of how expensive it is to talk to me and hung up. HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE

i always liked this place the way it is, i dont have any problems, nor do i complain, when you want to b.s about something you can, and when you want to get some tech help you can do that too...
the same guy that is talking to you about a street race that happened last night, or the snow that he's getting where he lives, is the same guy that is gonna tell you whats wrong with your truck when it's stalling, or back firing, or whatever.... thats what's cool about this place.
