I have to go back on my word about no more posting. I just got some new mods installed.
(Sorry I lost the pictures, it was just some pictures of my engine on a stand with larger water pump and steering pump pulleys.)

The removal was simple. I think the instructions say to leave it on the vehicle. I pressed the pulley on with my supercharger upper pulley installer...

The pulleys are oversize for the water pump and the power steering pump. I was told he didn't make one for the A?C because it shuts off at WOT. Also the crank pulley wasn't changed. I think Stan sells top secret replacement crank pulleys, but they are race only. Since I drive daily with my truck and have a stereo system I didn't want to get the small crank pulley. Besides I've ran out of mod money for awhile.

I don't live far from Stan so I may have gotten mine quick because of that. I'm sure if you wait a couple days he'll have the rest out.

Looks good My set is on the way although I probably won't get time to install them for awhile.

I've had my 2" drop shackles for over 2 months and haven't gotten them in yet. The long tubes were a different story though...

 

I'm one of the first ten to order too but there're not here yet . Is that your eng. easter? If so, how was the removal of the power steering pulley? Lot easier with the eng. on a stand?

What's the crank pulley look like? Can you snap a pic of it? I'm curious what Stan did about making the crank pulley smaller since it's part of the balancer.

Why would the balancer size need to be changed. If you were gonna change the balancer size then why change the other accessories size. I think you could do either one and acompish the same thing.

Usually underdrive pulley sets have a smaller diameter crank pulley to slow down the rpms of everything, decreasing the load. You also get a larger water pump pulley to speed the water pump back up to normal rpms (while keeping everything else slower), so you don't have cooling issues. Stan's setup just slows the P/S pump and water pump down by using larger pulleys. That does slow the pumps down, but shouldn't be a problem I'd think.

 

You are half rite Sal but if you have a smaller crank and a larger acc pulley you slow it down that much more.I think of it as rideing a 10 speed the crank being the pedals and the tire being the acc.

 

Sal you are confusing me. Please explain or provide some "Real Data" to confirm your theory.... These products are next on my list.
