My Opinion

I think these trucks lose there value so fast because they are over priced to beging with. I hope everyone relizes it is a $30k+ 2wd pick up . Also I think some of us wont do bad on resale because of A-X plans think of the poor people who paid over sticker they really get hammered.

With that said I also think people don't pay top dollar used because of what people do to these not to many stock or not brought to the track. I know I would never buy a used one there is enough issues with the new ones.

I think if the stock trucks will adventually (sp) be worth something it is just like a older muscle car nobody wants a modded one or if they do it is worth less (in most cases not a race car)

Oh by the way I am still gonna mod mine...lol
it's only money right it is about the fun for me...

I will keep mine for the duration of the loan. Then I know I have
equity in the truck whether I sell it privately or trade it in. That
is what I did with my 96 impalaSS and got 15,000 for a trade in
with 80,000 miles on it. But the only reason I got that is that
chevy stopped making them. And this also pertains to the
lightning. They will not hold their value until ford stops making
them.
