Hoosier 28x10x16

I have ordered a set and have never used any type of slick before.
1. what air pressure should I start with?
2. what type of burnout do you reccommend?

Start with 17 psi

First couple runs do a nice 15 sec burnout to break em in.. Then depending on track prep ( which in CA doesnt exist ) a simple 4 second haze job might only be needed. No 30 second John Force burnouts though, youre just wasting rubber.

I have Trucktraks and drive shaft loop. What technique do you use to launch?

It all depends on the track prep.

I drive around the water box and back into the water, then I do a 5-7 second burnout to heat the tires up. It may take 2 0r 3 runs for the tires to really work.

I would first try to launch at about 1200 rpm's and see how they bite. If that works ok go to 13-1500 and see how that works, I launch at 1800 rpms, but I have a 2400 stall torque converter.

I use Truk Tracks, 16PSI and try dropping the PSI when I think it might help. (Notice caveat/oxymoron...'I think') Dunno yet for sure, except these Hoosiers make me more of a man than.. well...much better than F1's....
