Just started noticing the last two tanks. Getting the Sandy rattle or rocky rattle at a hard romp all the way through and at the 4th gear accel at low rpms up. Wont do it on normal stop and go driving?

Anyone know of this? I did a search but didnt find what I was looking for.

Havent changed fuel filter will next time

Thinking of a couple gallons high 101-103 octane to add.
Any suggestions, takes or comments?

Put Amaco Gold in it. That extra one point of octane may help. Also, when the weather warms up you may not have the detonation. I have a JDM chip 6# pulley and all the bolt-on stuff and I do not have a problem on either side of the chip.

Are you going to try to make the get together tomorrow at the Smokehouse in Independence?

Nope I am not Roger. he's much better looking Don't know if we have met, I was at the hooters gathering a few months back.

You can also mix in a little race gas or toluene to boost your octane. I've done that when I ran my warm weather program in the winter.

I'm going to try to make the smokehouse....Its on the other side of the world from me; I live in Lenexa.

Just added 3 gallons to a smidge over half tank. 101 oct Citgo
And I am not hearing it.

Its 61 degrees as warm as its been for awhile.

So I may be on drugs. I dont know.. Well see what happens

I do now that the sound was more than apparent last 4 times I drove it before I did this gas fill

 

Where do you get the 101 Citgo?

 

Get on Johnson Drive and just East of Lamar..on the South side of the road..Big new Citgo station on the right
