Smoothing/Filling the Stock Sideview Mirrors

Started this project 2 weeks ago, 1 of the mirrors is almost ready for paint.
This is alot of work but should look nice.

JB Welded Seams


Body filler used to fill low spots


Wetsanded and ready for 2nd layer of body filler and some spot putty.

not a bad idea!

Look forward to seeing the finished product.

I see so many people doing all sorts of work on their trucks, and then there's me - working on projects around the house, and never have time for anything else ...hell, my poor Lightning has almost 1 month of salt and grime sitting on it, cuz we haven't had mor ethan 3 days of nice weather to make it worth washing. And the chances I get to wash it, I just know the St. Louis roads are gonna f it all up in an hour.

My problem is I have started over a dozen project and not 1 is completed. Maybe next year sometime I will have all of them completed!

No house here, If I keep buying $%@* I will be living in my L!

Sounds like me.

Thats gonna look nice though. I though about smoothing out the plastic only, not filling them in though.
